Sollana II
The rooftop solar park Sollana II is built atop a factory located in an industrial park some 20 km south of Valencia. It was constructed by the Spanish solar firm IM2 Solar and started operation in March 2010.
The location in eastern Spain is ideal for solar energy production because of its high solar radiation levels of up to 1,600 kWh/m². The planning and installing of the rooftop panels ensured no shadows are cast by neighboring buildings.
A long-term operations and maintenance plan has been drawn up to secure the plant availability and performance.
