Lo Illan
The building of the greenfield solar park started in 2010 in Murcia, and was completed in April 2011. It was developed by a Spanish solar contractor and constructed by a subsidiary of the German company Solar AG.
The facility uses 25,812 thin film modules produced by First Solar. First Solar provides a five-year product guarantee. In addition, the module performance is guaranteed at 90 percent over 10 years, and 80 percent over twenty-five years.
WOC’s technical Asset Management Team oversaw the construction phase. Together with the constructor a comprehensive operation and maintenance concept has been established. The project is fully integrated in WOC's online monitoring system.
