Amailloux
The Amailloux rooftop solar park was purchased from the solar energy firm AE3000 as part of a portfolio transaction in May 2012. It is located in western France, some 130 km south of Nantes.
The PV plant incorporates moncrystalline modules from Sunpower with a high module efficiency of over 18 percent. The facility was completed in June 2011, and started operation that October. A long-term operations and maintenance plan was drawn up with the building contractor, which covers both the plant availability and performance.
The project was purchased entirely using the Group’s own funds, without the involvement of additional external finance. A buyback price of 60 ct/kWh secures the earnings power of the project, providing good long-term dividends.
