Cremosano
The Cremosano greenfield solar park was constructed in August 2011 in the Italian province of Cremona, some 40 km south of Bergamo. It went into operation in September 2011 after the initial start-up phase.
The free-field PV power plant Cremosano was acquired together with four other solar power plants in September 2011. The power plant was constructed by Gehrlicher. The acquisition marks WOC's market entry in Italy.
Together with HSH Nordbank a long term project financing was arranged supported by a low-interest subsidy from the KfW developement bank. The operation and maintenance concept developed together with Gehrlicher ensures a sustainable electricity production.
