Polesine II
The Polesine II greenfield solar park is located in the Italian province of Parma, some 80 km south of Milan. It was purchased from the EPC contractor, Gehrlicher Solar AG, after connection to the power grid in September 2011.
The PV power plant Polesine II was acquired as part of a portfolio transaction. The facility uses around 20,600 First Solar modules, and SMA converters. It is fully-integrated into WOC’s monitoring system, which enables real-time performance analysis.
It was possilbe to arrange project financing with HSH Nordbank in combination with a long-term KfW facility made available at reduced rates of interest.
